Cape Shores Truck Haul Project

DNREC's Shoreline and Waterway Management Section conducted a truck haul project in Cape Shores during the fall of 2008.  The Melvin Joseph Co. trucked 24,000 cubic yards of sand to the beach of Cape Shores.  DNREC's Beach Crew and Sussex Conservation District employees spread the sand with heavy equipment.  With all the parties working together, the project came to completion quite well.
